The collection consists mainly of official photographs taken during Sharp's tenure as CO, U.S. Naval Forces, Pacific, and includes photograph albums of visits to Australia, Hawaii, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, London, and New Zealand, as well as of meetings with Presidents Nixon and Johnson and SECDEF Robert McNamara. Photos of Vietnam War damage are also included. Correspondence and miscellany are included as well.
