[Robert Rees Morrison scrapbook about Abraham Lincoln] dates (1930-1950).

The collection consists of interesting material on the Lincoln Tomb. Includes 3 original sketches by H.W. Fay, 1930s-50s postcards, photographs of Lincoln letters, Lincoln family members, monuments and historic sites, and the Nancy Hanks memorial and gravesite. Photocopies include Lincoln's company roster from the Black Hawk War and an honorable discharge signed by Lincoln; transcription and photograph of a letter, dated Aug. 24, 1854, from Eddie Owens concerning a half dollar Lincoln supposedly gave to Lazora Delcorreino. Facsimile of the Bixby letter; mostly undated newspaper clippings from Springfield, Chicago, and Kentucky, from the 1930's to the 1950's.

Abraham Lincoln (born February 12, 1809, Sinking Spring Farm near Hodgenville, Kentucky-died April 15, 1865, Washington, D.C.) was the sixteenth President of the United States from 1861 until his death by assassination.
