Born May 27, 1974 in Syracuse, New York. Nate moved to Illinois when his father accepted a job at Golden Oaks farm in 1989. The rest of the Janssen family lives in Iowa and has always been involved with agriculture. While in New York, Nate was always interested in farming, and showed cows through the local 4-H.
