A collection of letters, postcards and photographs relating to Vincent Price, chief architect of the Railway Department and his family. Included is correspondence relating to the death of his son Private Lyle Vincent D'Oyley Price, who was killed in action in France on 10 July 1918, at 19 years of age.

Vincent Price ws the son of Septimus Price, a Brisbane publisher. In 1896, he married Louisa Slaughter of New Farm and the couple went on to live at "Nunga", at Auchenflower in Brisbane.
