The Elizabeth Grandbois Memorial Collection of Manuscripts document the scholarly career of her great-grandson Dr. Damian Vraniak (also known as Damian McShane). The collection was received without an original order, and for this reason the collection was organized and arranged by the Department of Special Collections as follows: Series I: Biographical/personal. Series II: Publications, Series III: Presentations, Series IV: Research, Series V: Grants and proposals, Series VI: 1987 tenure files at Utah State University, Logan, Series VII. Subject files. This series has been divided into five sub-series as follows: Sub-Series A: Individual Tribes; This small sub-series consists of materials related specifically to individual Indian tribes in the United States and Canada . Journal articles and tribal publications comprise the vast majority of the material. Journal articles regarding a specific tribe were arranged here under that tribe's name, while articles about Indians in general were arranged in sub-series C. Sub-Series B: Organizations; This sub-series contains records from organizations with which Vraniak was affiliated. The largest group of files come from the American Psychological Association and the National Commission on Testing and Public Policy. Sub-Series C: Psychology Subject Files; This is the largest sub-series, and contains Vraniak's subject files related to the field of psychology. The largest single type of document in the sub-series is articles from scholarly journals, although book chapters, conference proceedings, dissertations, reports, and the text of presentations are also included. The files are arranged in alphabetical order by subject. Sub-Series D: Text of Various Psychological Tests; This small sub-series contains the text of any number of different psychological tests. Sub-Series E: Manuals; This sub-series contains policy and procedure manuals from a small number of clinics and hospitals in Minnesota, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.
