The press release discusses the use of six carrier pigeons to speed 32 photographs of the Cincinnati Reds - Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game to its studio four miles away for immediate transmission on the WLW-W8XUJ facsimile radio news broadcast. In addition there are 4 original photographs of the pigeon release and the equipment at Crosley which transmits the photographs.
