The William M. Simpson, Jr., M.D. Records, circa 1981-1992, includes nine folders and is organized into two series: Scripts and What's Your Diagnosis?. The Scripts series contains copies of the scripts "Family Medicine in South Carolina: A Report" and "History of Medicine in South Carolina" as well as screen slides for the "Family Medicine" script. The What's Your Diagnosis? series includes correspondence, a certificate, news clippings, and brochures regarding Dr. Simpson's participation in the What's Your Diagnosis? quiz competition. What's Your Diagnosis? is a quiz competition where physicians from across the nation competed in teams to solve a mystery diagnosis with the symptoms provided. This series also contains photographs and a video of the competition.
