Manuscript on Islamic law according to the Shāfiʻī tradition by Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Shirbīnī (d. 1570), a prolific Egyptian scholar; being a commentary on al-Mukhtaṣar fī al-fiqh ʻalá madhhab al-Shāfiʻī of Abū Shujāʻ al-Iṣfahānī, Aḥmad ibn al-Ḥusayn (b. ca. 1042), a Shāfiʻī Islamic law scholar. The present manuscript has only the last two parts of the original (starts with Kitāb bayān aḥkām al-farāʼiḍ wa-al-waṣāyā). Copied on Wednesday, the beginning of Rabīʼ al-Ākhir, 1277 (17 October, 1860) by ʻAbduh Ẓahīr al-Wakīl al-Zaʻbalāwī, probably in Egypt.
