Alexander Calder papers, 1952-1977.

This collection consists of correspondence between Alexander (and Louisa) Calder and Charles G. (and Marian) Muller, much of which is social, though some is concerned with Calder's work, and of fourteen sketches, in pencil, blue ink, and red marker, which Calder made of Charles G. Muller, himself, and other unidentified subjects, most signed and two dated November 14, 1959. In addition, there are clippings from magazines and newspapers concerning Calder, a few gallery booklets and catalogues, an announcement and program from a memorial service for Calder in New York, some letters between Muller and the New York Times concerning the obituary the Times ran on Calder, one letter from Muller to Donald D. Eddy, and two blank postcards of Calder's work.
