Langston Hughes letter to Witter Bynner [manuscript], 1959 March 3.

Hughes thanks Bynner for sending him a copy of his note nominating him [for an award?]. Knopf was to send him a copy of "Selected Poems" which contains "Our house in Taos." He will sign the volume the next time he is out West. He mentions seeing Carl Van Vechten at the Russian Tea Room and at the opening of "Requiem for a nun" and notes that Van Vechten's wife Fania is on a cruise.
