H.W. Bendy papers, 1861-1865.

Papers consists of four Civil War documents dating from 1861 to 1865. A pass granted to H.W. Bendy from New Orleans to Mobile, under the authority of the Governor of Louisiana, is included in the papers. There are two orders dated in 1864. One orders ferrymen and guards to allow H.W. Bendy to pass into Mobile. The other is a leave of absence issued to Bendy. Also included is an 1865 Parole of Honor signed by H.W. Bendy, Capt. stating he will not bear arms against the U.S.
