Coit, Henry Leber, 1854-1917

Henry Leber Coit (1854-1917) was a pediatrician and won recognition for his work on the care and feeding of infants. He pioneered the certified milk movement, organized the Medical Milk Commission of Essex Co., N. J., established the Newark Babies' Hospital, and held office in the American Association of Medical Milk Commissions, pediatric and medical societies, and international congresses.
