C.V. "Red" Money papers 1927-1974

This collection consists of basketball scorebooks from teams coached by or associated with C.V. "Red" Money. Scorebooks from the 1949-1950 season through the 1954-1955 season are for the Northern Michigan University basketball team. Also included are summaries of his basketball and football seasons, a paper written by Money, and plaques honoring him.

C.V. "Red" Money was born in Jay County, Indiana. He received a B.S. degree from Ohio Northern University (1923), an M.S. degree (1933) and a Dir. P.E. degree (1956) from Indiana University. Money began his career at Northern Michigan University in 1947. For many years, he was nearly single-handedly responsible for the entire athletic program.
