Ruth Booth Fisher Album, 1917-1926

The Ruth Booth Fisher Album contains approximately 270 well-identified photographs of Wyoming in 1917 and of Alaska in 1920, 1923, and 1926. Alaskan images were taken on a trip from Vancouver, British Columbia to Dawson, Yukon, by way of the Inside Passage and White Pass (1920); on a trip from Seward, Alaska to Fairbanks via the Alaska Railroad and from Fairbanks to Cordova via the Richardson Highway and Copper River and Northwestern Railway (1923); and on a trip by rail and river boat from Jasper National Park, Alberta to Fairbanks, Alaska and Denali National Park (1926). Subjects include steamships, landscapes, city and village scenes, roadhouses, camping and people.

Approximately 270 photographs.
