William Waldo Dodge Architectural Drawings, 1916-1989 [manuscript].

The collection contains architectural drawings of William Waldo Dodge, Jr. (mostly from later in his career), and William Waldo Dodge III, as well as the younger Dodge's architectural firms. Drawings of a few other architects and landscape architects are also represented in the collection. In addition to the drawings, the collection contains building specifications from the younger Dodge's work.

William Waldo Dodge, Jr., was born on February 6, 1895, in Washington, D.C. He settled in Asheville, North Carolina, in 1923 and practiced architecture in that area for several decades thereafter. He died on February 21, 1971. His son, William Waldo Dodge III, attended North Carolina State University and practiced architecture in Raleigh, North Carolina.
