[Indian symbol felts] [realia]. [1925-1926]

Felt versions of the Indian symbol--a bust of a warrior in profile. One design apparently was based on a concept by Walter Beach Humphrey. The other design was accepted by Jake Piani as the logo at the Dartmouth Coop store and later used as the official Dartmouth College Indian symbol. They were machine appliquéd and decoratively stitched by Maude Perrin at Green Mountain Studios. The envelope contains identifying information.

2 items : felt, col. ; 38 x 30 cm. and 41 x 30 cm. + 1 envelope (10 x 17 cm)
