al-Burdah, [1762 or 1763] / li-Kaʻb ibn Zuhayr.

Manuscript of "al-Burdah" the famous poem by Kaʻb ibn Zuhayr (d. 645) praising the Prophet Muḥammad who after reciting the poem rewarded him with the mantle he was wearing (i.e. the Burdah), hence the name of the poem. The poem is also known by the title "Bānat Suʻād" (from the poem's two opening words). Copied in 1176 H (1762 or 1763). Provenance and name of copyist unknown.
