Manuscript on Islamic law by Abū al-Ḥasan al-Mālikī (Ibn Khalaf, ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad, 1453-1532), a prominant Egyptian Muslim scholar who wrote several treatises on the different aspects of Islamic law according to the Mālikī tradition, summerized from his two commentaries on "al-Risālah," a treatise on Islamic law by Ibn Abī Zayd al-Qayrawānī (ʻAbd Allāh ibn ʻAbd al-Raḥmān, 10th cent.), a famous Muslim scholar from the city of al-Qayrawān, Tunisia. Name of copiest and place and date of copying not mentioned, probably in the 18th century in Egypt.
