Manuscript on rhetoric and metaphors in Arabic; a commentary on al-Risālah al-Samarqandīyah of Abū al-Qāsim ibn Abī Bakr al-Samarqandī (15th cent.), a prolific Ḥanafī Muslim scholar who wrote several treatises on rhetoric and metaphors, by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Qāzābādī, a little known Egyptian Muslim scholar, who according to a note on folio 1a was appointed a judge in 1153 H (1740/1741) in Egypt; written on 21 Rajab, 1154 H (2 October, 1741); copied by Manṣūr al-Manṣūrī al-Ḥanafī probably in the 19th century in Egypt.
