Recordings of a lecture given by Kenneth Hayes looking at the relation between painting and wall in Mies van der Rohe's designs for exhibition spaces. Presented on Oct. 11, 2001 at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montréal, as the first of three lectures in a series entitled "Mies révélé / Mies revealed", held in conjunction with the exhibition "Mies en Amérique = Mies in America", on view at the CCA, Oct. 17, 2001-Jan. 20, 2002. Includes opening and closing remarks by Nancy Dunton.
