Elizabeth Arterburn Wilson papers, 1923-1926.

Collection includes various unidentified newspaper clippings, library correspondence, miscellaneous papers, and Wilson's personal research notes on early Kentucky historian Mann Butler. Also contains Wilson's completed work, "Mann Butler: Kentucky Historian," as well as a brief letter from Otto A. Rothert. Wilson, a University of Louisville graduate, presented her paper on Butler at a meeting of the Filson Club. Butler published his history of Kentucky in 1834 and helped found the University of Louisville and the Louisville Public Library.
