Scrapbook containing ms. or typed correspondence from Edward Gorey to Beatrice Rosen, art work by E. Gorey, photographs, portraits, and the cover of Dec. 21, 1992 issue of The New Yorker designed by E. Gorey. "The above is a complete listing of the collection of letters and illustrations by Edward Gorey, sent to, and personally given to his dear lifelong friend Bea Moss (nee Rosen). ... These writings and illustrations have never been published or for that matter, even seen, except by the parties for whom they were intended. Although Mr. Gorey never dated his letters with a year or month, (only the day of the week), they date from the early 1940's, through the late 1970's."--P.
