Expressing pleasure at hearing from him; telling him he will come and sit for him, though Ruskin was never painted by Watts; telling him he will send him the last volume [of Modern Painters] and will add some proofs, plates and etchings that are not in the book; talking at length about Titian's methods of painting as a model for Watts; offering a critique on the technique of Watts' "group with child in the Academy;" saying he hopes to call on him and Mrs. Prinsep soon.
