Photographs documenting the Wyvernwood Garden Apartments. [ca. 1939]

The photographs document the construction of the Wyvernwood Garden Apartments near downtown Los Angeles. Included are aerial views of the site and views of the site before, during, and after construction. A group of photographs shows the various phases of building as well as construction techniques. There are two photographs documenting the groundbreaking ceremony and three photographs of an event in the newly-opened complex. Also included are a photographic reproduction of the architects' site plan, as well as one of the later Pico Gardens project (1942), and a two-part aerial panorama of downtown Los Angeles.
