L. D. J. "Bud" Larson served as a page in the Montana Senate during the 1951 and 1953 legislative sessions. Collection (1951-1957) contains letters and memorabilia, including a legislative directory autographed by most of the members of the Senate and a mock Senate bill proposing moving the capital from Helena to Big Timber. (SC 1779) L. D. J. "Bud" Larson served as a page in the Montana Senate during the 1951 and 1953 legislative sessions. Collection (1951-1957) contains letters from Governor-elect Hugo Aronson and from Charles H. Mahoney; and memorabilia, including a legislative directory autographed by most of the members of the Senate and a mock Senate bill proposing moving the capital from Helena to Big Timber.

Louis D. Larson was born December 19, 1934. He attended Helena High School while serving as a page in the Montana Senate in 1951 and 1953. In 1956 he joined the Navy and served on the U. S. S.
