Hull discusses his ROTC training, his service at an antiaircraft missile site in San Francisco, Calif., training to be an antiaircraft artillery tank platoon leader in El Paso, Tex., his work as a civil affairs officer in Vietnam, ameneties and recreation at Long Binh, differences between urban and rural residents in Vietnam, Vietnamese politics and government, the anti-war movement, and his general appraisal of the war.
