Bernice Apple was a Polson, Montana, resident. This collection contains a copy of a typewritten manuscript entitled "Polson's Progress 1909-1911." Bernice Williams was born in Newcastle, Pennsylvania, in 1910, the daughter of Robert Z. and Lillian (Kennedy) Williams. She married Thomas J. Apple in Hobson, Montana, on December 16, 1928. They then moved to Lewistown. They owned Apple's Frozen Food Lockers there in the late 1940s. They later moved to Polson. She died in Fergus County, Montana, on June 18, 1985.
