Original photograph of the J.C. Curtis hardware store on Main Street in Camden, ca. 1895. The store was established in 1838 and sold hardware, tools, paints, housewares, and sporting goods. The reflection in the left window is the old harness shop across from the Village Green where the Camden Post Office is now located. Left to right: Win Bassick, Jane Bickford, J.C. Curtis, A.H. Parsons, John Ferrih, Charlie Burd, Herbert Young and "Spike" (the horse).
