F. H. Felberg's chronological file contains correspondence and memoranda having to do with Mr. Felberg's day-to-day activities as Assistant Laboratory Director. Mr. Felberg handled Resource Allocation and Management, JPL Support Contractor Manpower Facilities and Work Space, Burden Budgets, Division operations, including such items as: Consulting, Salary Reviews, Subcontract Management, Travel Budgets, and Authorizations, and much more. The file covers the period from July 1976 through December 1978. The files are arranged in reverse chronological order. Some aspects of Mr. Felberg's personal background as well as his involvement with several JPL projects are discussed in this file. Included in this accession are the files of Mr Walt Victor who was as of September 1976 Deputy Laboratory Assistant to Mr. Felberg. His responsibility was continuing assessment and development of Institutional Technical Base. Monitoring and assessment of the quality of technical work performed, and the establishment and monitoring of engineering standards.
