William M. Coleman oral history interview, 1974.

Coleman discusses his military career prior to going to Thailand, his work quarrying rock in Thailand, racial discrimination and conflict in the Army, entertainment in Bangkok and the local NCO club, the prevalence of prostitution and venereal disease, his good relationships with Thai families, Thai cultural practices, attitudes of Thais toward Americans, and local Thai politics.
