Includes a letter from Samuel Wyllys at Yale to his father Hezekiah, 1732; one from John Palsgrave Wyllys to George Wyllys about a march through Pennsylvania, 1781; several epistles from Sarah Deming to Amelia Dyer Trumbull, 1767-1778, in which Sarah usually criticized Amelia; letters from Sarah Deming to Joseph Trumbull, 1775-1776; several letters from Joseph Trumbull to Amelia before their marriage, 1776-1777, in which he related his exploits; assorted correspondence of Amelia, 178-1784, 1810; correspondence of Amelia Wyllys Adams and husband, Asher Adams, 1807-1818; and letters to George Wyllys Adams, 1826-1836, including one from his grandfather, Hezekiah Wyllys (1750-1827).
