William Potter letters, 1851-1855.

A collection of letters, most of which written by William Potter to his wife. Potter was writing from Brandon, Mississippi. Also included are letters to and from Calista V. "Kitty" Potter Thresher. Accounts with Henry Potter, and letters to Henry's wife, Ann, are in the collection as well. Henry was the father of William. A volume in the collection contains family history, beginning with that of Capt. Samuel Gore. The volume has a copy of his will and inventory of his belongings.
