Zelda Fitzgerald (b. July 24, 1900, Montgomery, AL–d. March 10, 1948, Asheville, NC) was an American socialite, novelist, painter and wife of author F. Scott Fitzgerald. She was dubbed by her husband as "the first American Flapper". She and Scott became emblems of the Jazz Age, for which they are still celebrated.
