Photographs of and relating to the life of Major James McIntosh Wood, brother of Oregon author Charles Erskine Scott Wood. Subjects include portraits of Wood, his mountain climbing expeditions on Mount Hood, and photographs relating to his military service, possibly during the Spanish-American War. The photographs were taken circa 1898-1944, and some were taken by Wood.
