Mann refers to Hitler's "out-of-date Alexander expedition for the conquest of the world. The history which Hitler makes is imitation history, nonsense, a froth of blood. He is not a revolutionary, he is a swindler of history and his bankrupcy [sic] is only a question of time ..."
