Filza XII de signori Medici segnata con la lettera M, 1340-1666.

Miscellany of approximately 200 (largely original, but with some copies) legal and notarial documents, trial proceedings, accounts, and inventories, concerning the affairs of various members of Florentine families, including the Medici, the Arrigucci, the Altoviti and the Risaliti. Most of the documents contained in the filza concern legal matters of some kind, and can be divided into three broad categories, according to which areas of law they fall into: inheritance law, civil law, and commercial law. Among the last group is a document concerning a large debt owed by the Monte di Pietà€ and two private investors, Bartolomeo Corsini and Jacopo Ricciardi, to a Jewish ambassador, Juda Lullo, who had been received at the Medicean court. Credit records of transactions between members of the various families engaged in the textile trade are quite frequent. The filza also contains some accounts of the everyday transactions that result from the management of the various farms that composed the Medici estate.
