Autograph letter, signed, from Henry Ogden to Jabez D. Hammond, dated Unadilla, September 7, 1827. Ogden thanks Hammond for his help in gaining a cadetship for his son, and then goes on to discuss the politics of the day, especially the coming presidential election.
