Photographs of Jane Powell (born Suzanne Lorraine Burce), actress and singer from Portland, Or., depicting Powell appearing and singing at various events in Portland, including the Portland Rose Festival and in her role as Oregon's Victory Girl at KOIN radio's Victory Harvest during World War II. There are also some photographs of Powell's return visits to Portland during the 1950s.

Jane Powell (Suzanne Burce) (b. 1929) was an actress, singer who began her career in 1943 at the age of 13. An appearance was arranged for the young singer on the radio network broadcast of Hollywood Showcase, and about a week later her screen test for MGM was pronounced a success -- Suzanne Burce became Jane Powell.
