Hemingway asks Mr. Palmer of Scribner's to send copies of Sheilah Graham's Beloved infidel, John O'Hara's new novel, and three additional copies of The green hills of Africa and The collected stories of Ernest Hemingway. All checked off as being gathered and/or sent. In a post-script Hemingway notes, "Harry Braque has given me the word on the African stuff and it will be coming along. Have one book already and the Rowland War Catalogue. Thank you very much. I am sorry to have been a nuisance at such a busy time."
