Contains records from the German Mutual Fire Insurance Company of North Chicago, which Joseph N. Schmitz served as secretary, including 1867 fire loss statistics, 1896-1906 list of insured members, and 1943-1950 annual statements. Also included are newsletters and other records of the Pistaqua Heights Country Club (1928-1931), of which Eugene J. Schmitz was a member. In addition, includes records from Chicago Title and Trust Company and other papers relating to the real estate and loan business of Nicholas J. Schmitz.
