Correspondence, notes for speeches, clippings and photocopies of articles regarding Mrs. Albion L. Headburg (Virgine Jennings) and her work as the chairman of art for the Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs. She was instrumental in the restoration of the Columbian Fine Arts Building in Chicago after the Field Museum moved and before the Museum of Science and Industry took up residence. Papers mostly relate to the campaign in the 1920s to save the structure, which was constructed originally as the Fine Arts Building of the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893. Clippings relating to Mrs. Headburg and building conservation make up the bulk of the 1930-1958 papers.
