Correspondence, newspaper clippings, mailings, informational handouts, volunteer instructions, event flyers, petitions, fundraising materials, photographs, and other administrative records of the Impeach Nixon Committee based in Evanston, Illinois, which formed to advocate the impeachment of President Richard M. Nixon. A majority of the collection is incoming correspondence requesting petitions, flyers, and other committee information. Also included are letters denouncing the committee. The newspaper clippings relate to the presidency of Richard Nixon and in particular, the Watergate scandal and his impeachment. A small portion of the materials, especially the information sheets and flyers, were prepared by other similar organizations, such as the American Civil Liberties Union.
