Collection consists of papers of Agatha Aimar Simmons, her father Charles Pon Aimar, Mary Octavia Picault Aimar, Leonarda Jacques Aimar, Arthur Aimar, and Charles Augustus Aimar. Papers of Agatha Aimar Simmons include correspondence (1914-1982); genealogical research on the families of Dapray, Gambatti, Perry, and Sebring; historical research on various subjects including Eliza Lucas Pinckney and Dr. Matthias Leopold Stupicz; property and financial records; a scrapbook; estate records; and miscellaneous items, including papers pertaining to Pons Menard. Papers of Charles Pons Aimar include correspondence (1910-1927), estate records, hunting records (1900-1927), and miscellaneous items. Hunting records include records of the Grove Hunting Club (1916-1927), which contains minutes, observations about birds in South Carolina and North Carolina, notes on deer hunts near Charleston and other areas, and information on a collection of antlers.
