This collection consists of miscellaneous papers and meeting minute notes of various Academic Affairs committees and task forces on Whitworth College's campus. These committees and task forces include: Affirmative Action Committee, Employment Diversity Committee, Women's Task Force, Administrative Computing Task Force, Information Communications Technology Committee, Computing and Technology Task Force, White Paper Group, Innovation Committee, International Multicultural Education Committee, National Multiculture Experience Task Force, International Student Policy and Program Task Force, Academic Affairs Council, and Department Chairs Group. Also included are English Language Program Professor Janet Yoder's meeting notes from Affirmative Action Committee, Women's Task Force, Employment Diversity Committee, International Multicultural Education Committee, National Multiculture Experience Task Force, and International Student Policy and Program Task Force meetings, Economic Welfare Committee, Academic Advising Committee, President's Briefing Committee, Professional Learning Council.

Whitworth College was founded officially on February 19, 1890. During the years 1987 and 1988 plans were made to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Of course, this celebration, all during the 1989 year, was an opportune time for a fund drive. (Timothy R. Eaton, B .A. ’74) was commissioned to produce a motion picture film, “Whitworth College” for promotion of the financial campaign.
