Compendium of Italian manuscripts, [ca. 1370-1530].

Manuscript consisting of several sections written at various periods in different hands, from the late 14th to the early 16th century. Sections include a manuscript of La sfera, by Leonardo Dati; Viaggio in Egitto ed in Terra Santa, by Lionardo di Niccolò Frescobaldi, 1384; I dieci commandamenti, I dodici articholi della fede, and I sette sacramenti, possibly by Dante Alighieri; Inchomincia il Credo di Dante; Orazione fatta per Mr. Saviozo da Siena a petizione de Sanesi quando avevono la morte; a detailed itinerary, with indication of hostelries, distances, currency, etc., for a pilgrimage from Florence to S. Jago di Compostella, as undertaken in 1477, with the return journey and a digression to Santa Maria Finis Terrae; and a Florentine manuscript titled Rappresentazione della nativita, dated 21 April, 1510. The volume is bound in its original wooden boards and leather back, with one clasp. The word "Sapienzi" is written on the cover.
