Maison d'Artois titres et états, 1773-1777.

Manuscripts concerning the family of the Comte d'Artois, who became King Charles X of France. Included are fair copies of a marriage contract between the Comte d'Artois and Princess Marie Therese of Savoy, Oct. 23, 1773; a declaration from King Louis XV, creating the civil and domestic household of the Comte d'Artois, Nov. 17, 1773; a list of officers and men of the two companies of Swiss and the company of the Garde de la Porte of the Comte d'Artois, Jan. 1, 1777; and an undated list of the servants constituting the household of Comtesse d'Artois. Bound in quarter leather with a contrasting morocco spine label; title from spine.
