Includes Ladies' home journal covers and Ladies' home journal 's souvenir pictures of the Great War. Focuses on prominent military men, women participating in homefront activities, patriotic writings, Salvation Army, Red Cross, YMCA, Paris Peace Conference, League of Nations, deaths of Woodrow Wilson and John J. Pershing, and article by James W. Gerard, American Ambassador to Germany, born in Geneseo, NY. Also contains clippings of Jackson County, West Virginia men called to service and ribbon with the names of second call of soldiers of Tucker County, West Virginia. Postcards (chiefly pasted in) sent from her husband, Charles Franklin Mooney, include Camp Shelby, Hattiesburg, Mississippi; Camp Lee, Virginia; U.S. Army General Hospital No. 2, Fort McHenry, Maryland.
