Dwight Brunel Huntley papers, 1881-1914.

Volumes of lecture notes written by Huntley (1909-1910) while he was teaching classes on mining and metallurgy at the University of Nevada (in Reno), and a handwritten "General Report on S.W. Nevada," addressed to Albert Williams, chief of the Division of Mining Statistics and Technology of the U.S. Geological Survey. Places represented in the report are Candelaria (including Columbus), Silver Peak, and the Mount Grant (Walker River) mining districts.
