Booklet of 10 p. of official copies of records of the Connecticut General Assembly (1649-1685), concerning New London's bounds and encroachment on land of the Mohegans; bond (1713 Aug. 20) to John Coit, shipwright, receipted 1732 on reverse; account of Hempstead with the Proprietors of New London (1719-1735), on reverse side an account of making clothes, with notes by Hempstead on both sides; bill from Thomas Pierpont (1741-1757) for gravestones, sidesaddle, and horses; deed to John Hempsted by Joshua for slave Caesar (1764 Apr. 17); and 12 bills (1779) to Joshua Hempstead, receipted, from tavern-keepers in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts, usually for services rendered to New London men during in the American Revolution.
