San Francisco and San Joaquin Valley Railway Company stockholder meeting document, April 1896.

Typescript document addressed to the Trustees of the railway company for a meeting called by the Board of Directors on June 16, 1896 for the purpose of creating a bond issue of six million dollars to finance the expansion of the railroad to Bakersfield, Calif. The document is signed by each shareholder along with the number and value of the shares each one holds. The Trustees include Adolph B. Spreckels, and James D. Phelan, among others.
